The Antipyrine publishing house has been working with the writings of the artist collective Koncern°s (1989-1993) for a long time with a book in mind. Together with Krabbesholm Højskole (Schadebøgerne), the publishing house published Swedish poet Ida Börjel’s conceptual poetry collection Sabotage Manuals in early May. And finally, the publisher is continuously working on translations of texts by the French feminist ‘readymade artist’ Claire Fontaine.
The three different projects work with found text, systems and limitations, deviations and doubts about who is speaking in the text, who or what is the origin of the text. Across time and with different settings, the idea of the welfare state, the competitive state and the knowledge society is torn apart, with eloquence and irony, and the will to rebel.
The exhibition contains large amounts of text, archive material, posters, objects, video, books, performance and readings.
At the opening of the exhibition there was a performance by the Department of Emancipation Studies: ‘Two fake professors from the Department of Emancipation Studies search for capital logic in a shellfish archive at Krabbesholm’
In connection with the Krabbesholm Literature Festival on 5 May, there was a pre-release of the Sabotage manuals and readings by author Ida Börjel and translator/editor Mathias Kokholm.
Forlaget Antipyrine har gennem en længere periode arbejdet med kunstnerkollektivet Koncern°s (1989-1993) skrifter med tanke på en bog. Sammen med Krabbesholm Højskole (Schadebøgerne) udgav forlaget i begyndelsen af maj den svenske digter Ida Börjels konceptuelle digtsamling Sabotagemanualerne. Og endelig arbejde forlaget kontinuerligt med oversættelser af tekster af den franske, feministiske ‘readymade kunstner’ Claire Fontaine.
De tre forskellige projekter arbejder med funden tekst, systemer og begrænsninger, afvigelser og tvivl i forhold til hvem der taler i teksten, hvem eller hvad der er tekstens ophav. På tværs af tid og med forskellige indstillinger slides der på idéen om velfærdsstaten, konkurrencestaten og videnssamfundet, med veltalenhed og ironi, og viljen til opgør.
Udstillingen rummer store mængder tekst, arkivmateriale, plakater, objekter, video, bøger, performance og oplæsning.
Ved åbningen af udstillingen var der performance af Institut for Emancipationsvidenskab: “To falske professorer fra Institut for Emancipationsvidenskab leder efter kapitallogikken i et skaldyrsarkiv på Krabbesholm”
