Rune Bosse
Rune Bosse (b. 1987) is a Danish visual and installation artist whose work explores nature—trees, plants, and growth cycles—as both material and theme. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and the Institut für Raumexperimente in Berlin under Olafur Eliasson, completing his education in Copenhagen in 2016.
Bosse’s practice merges physical, conceptual, and temporal aspects of nature. He often incorporates natural elements like branches and roots into his installations, highlighting processes of growth, decay, and the passage of time. His work challenges linear perceptions of time and human control over the natural world.
Recognized for his innovative approach, Bosse has exhibited nationally and internationally, and his work is included in several museum collections. Through poetic, process-driven art, he encourages viewers to reconsider their relationship with nature.
